Boyd Lionberger Jr.

Boyd Lionberger, Jr. age 93, of Glencoe, KY passed away Tuesday October 7, 2025 at Gallatin Nursing Hospice care facility Warsaw, KY. Born November 22, 1931 in Henry County Missouri. He was the son of the late Boyd Lionberger and Mary A Sell Lionberger.
Boyd proudly served his country from 1953-1955 in the us army. He worked for many years and retired from AT&T in Telecommunications. Boyd lived in several states during his career. Boyd served as deacon for the Glencoe Baptist Church for several years and later was a member of Warsaw Methodist Church where he took an active part. Boyd enjoyed working and fixing things and served as a handy man helping his neighbors and friends. Boyd also enjoyed traveling, going out to eat and family time. Boyd Never met a stranger and made new friends everywhere he went.
In addition to his parents, Boyd was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Ann Lionberger, 2 sons Clark Lionberger and Martin Lionberger, 1 brother Richard L Lionberger and 1 sister Betty Lindschmidt.
Boyd is Survived by his wife Betty West, 2 Brothers John Lionberger and Lowell Lionberger, 2 sisters Carol Ann Horn and Sherrel Fence. Also surviving are 4 daughters, Bethany Ellen Reel, Debra Lynn Smith, Brenda K Smith, and Amber Lynn Sanzo, 2 sons, Donald Paul Lionberger and Michael John Sanzo, 2 stepsons, Mark West and Keith West, 3 stepdaughters, Julie Hamilton, Cindy Williamson and Gwen Maines, as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday October 14, 2025 11:00 a.m. at Warsaw Methodist Church Warsaw, KY. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pilot Knob Cemetery Berea KY.
