Brack Congleton

Brack Congleton, age 83, a resident of Eagle River for most of his life, passed away on Monday April 1, 2024 at the Eagle River Hospital. Brack was born on June 30, 1940 in Antigo, WI to George and Goldie Congleton. He married Ruth (née Bacic) on July 24, 1965 in Eagle River, WI. He worked for many years at Lampert's and Boone's as a truck driver. Brack enjoyed fishing and feeding the deer and birds. Brack served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #114 in Eagle River, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Goldie; brothers: Glen, Bernie and Lyle; sister: Audrey; and grandson: Dustin.
Brack is survived by his wife: Ruth Congleton of Eagle River, WI; children: Amy Congleton of Wausau, WI, Misty Congleton of Rogers, AR, Brack (Tracy) Congleton of Rhinelander, WI, Brian (Lisa) Congleton of Eagle River, WI, Tammy Congleton of Pewaukee, WI, Steve Congleton of Mukwonago, WI, and Chris Congleton of Milwaukee, WI; brother: Charlie (Margaret) Congleton of Clearwater Lake, WI; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
