Brad Silvio Dantone, 71, of Germantown, TN formally of Clarksdale, MS passed away May 30, 2025. He was born December 22, 1953, in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Brossie and Camille Campassi Dantone. His grandparents were Silvio (Carrie) Campassi and Joe (Mary) Dantone. Brad was a graduate of Clarksdale High School and the University of Mississippi with a Business Degree majoring in Finance & Marketing. He was the President of the Financiers Club and a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, MS and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Germantown, TN. A spiritual devotion to his Love of God was a fulfillment attending Daily Mass, Bible studies and praying the Rosary. Brad's career was with Memphis Cotton Merchant Cargill Cotton. A good health routine was his priority. The art of music was his motivation for playing the guitar, composing songs and writing a Screenplay with a Soundtrack titled "The Soul of Unconditional Love." Cooking, sharing recipes, the love of nature through gardening and managing financial investments were a part of his daily life.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents; Uncle Johnny (Ada) Campassi and their daughter Sondra Monty. Survivors include his brother Jerry (Rena) Dantone of Grenada, Mississippi; nieces Debbie (Paul) Fava of Arlington, Tennessee and Diane (Bill) Lewis of Clarksdale, Mississippi; nephew Chris Dantone (Megan) of Birmingham, Alabama. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, MS at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025. The family will receive visitors at the church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Oakridge Cemetery in Clarksdale, MS immediately after Mass.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8151 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN 38138 and Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church, 130 Florence Ave., Clarksdale, MS 38614. Arrangements are being handled by Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS.

I so loved Brad's talent. He shared in the Avengers and later with his new band. He played at the Draw Down for our St. Elizabeths school. He was a good friend to Davy Lee Farris after his health decline. He will be missed. Rock on in Heaven.
