Bradford Hunt Hedrick, 79, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on October 26, 2025. He was born December 21, 1945, in Berwyn, Illinois.

He attended 7th Avenue School, Cossitt Elementary, and Lyons Township High School, where he met the love of his life, Carol Hunt. She stole his heart after meeting at a party during high school, and the two made a beautiful life together for many years in LaGrange before retiring to Fishers and Indianapolis, Indiana. They loved to travel in their retirement, exploring the Midwest, the Northeast and the Northwest, as well as many boat trips through Europe.

Brad excelled in school, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and history from Tulane University, and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Chicago. He worked in banking and trust operations for many different banks over 38 years, retiring in 2007.

Brad was one of the founding members of the Indiana Sons of the Revolution. Brad was also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Baronial Order of Magna Carta, Order of the Crown of Charlemagne, and a Paul Harris Fellow in the Rotary Club of Indiana. He was an active member of church throughout his life. He was a worship elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville, Indiana.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed physical exercise, swimming, ping pong, pocket pool, long hikes in the woods, and cooking. He had a love of Big Band music, good food, and history. Due to his patriotism, he didn’t miss an opportunity to thank military personnel for their service and was blessed to accompany a veteran on an Honor Flight to Washington D.C. Brad was a loving, supportive, and kind father. He enjoyed years of deep love for Carol, his partner in adventures, dancing, laughter, and life.

Brad is preceded in death by his parents, Gale Holbrook and Shirley Ebert Hedrick, and sister Penelope Pate Schafer (Robert).

He is survived by Carol, his beloved wife of 56 years; his daughters: Heather (David) Fink of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jennifer (Daniel) Schacher of Glenview, Illinois; his identical twin brother Gale (Margaret) Hedrick of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his nephews: Jeff (Kristi), Todd (Nancy), Ken (Sarah), and Adam (Courtney) Hunt, Karl (Maura) Schafer, Joshua (Kim) and Jesse (Lynna) Hedrick.

In accordance with Brad’s wishes, his ashes will be interred at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Indianapolis, Indiana. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church, 1207 Conner Street, Noblesville, Indiana, with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Brad requests that donations be made to your local Humane Society, or to the First Presbyterian Church of Noblesville.
