Memorial services will be held at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel in Walters, OK on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at 10:30 AM.
Bradley Joseph Swain was born to Richard Gayle and Beulah Mae (McAlister) Swain on August 26th, 1970 in Lawton, OK. He departed this life in Lawton on September 13th, 2024 at the age of 54 years and 18 days old.
Brad grew up in Lawton and attended Hoover Elementary, Tomlinson Jr. High, and graduated from Eisenhower Sr. High school in 1988. He married Barbara Lynn Bradley on July 25th, 1991, in Lawton. They had three children: Kelli, Shawn, and Brandon. Brad served in the U.S. Army for 2 years during Operation Desert Storm, and received veteran status with an honorable discharge. He was a jack of all trades, and worked many different jobs in his lifetime.
In his free time he could be found tinkering on his car, gardening, listening to music, and spending time with his kids. As a child, he loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hiking and biking. He was known for his intriguing personality, quick wit, unique sense of humor, and wide ranged skill sets. He loved Jesus with all his heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Swain, and a brother, Robert Swain.
Bradley is survived by his daughter Kelli, of Lawton; his sons Shawn Swain, of Lawton, and Brandon Swain, of Oklahoma City; 4 grandchildren: Melody, Violet, Archer, and Forest; his mother Beulah Swain of Temple; and a brother Rick Swain of Lawton.
