Branden Schrader, 51, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away January 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1971 in Denison, Texas to Kenneth and JoAnn (Atherton) Schrader. Branden married Beth (Koch) Schrader on July 24, 1993 in Belleville, Illinois. They were blessed with 29 years of marriage.
In addition to his beloved wife, Branden is survived by his sons, Hunter Schrader and wife, Taylor of Melbourne, Florida, Wyatt Schrader of Mount Vernon, and Toby Schrader of Mount Vernon; parents-in-law, Dennis and Janet Koch of Belleville, Illinois; uncle, John Rusnak and wife, Carolyn of Wilmington, Delaware; siblings-in-law, Jim Koch, Debbie Hampton and husband, Jason, and Susan McLean and husband, Jon; and several nieces and nephews.
Branden was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Branden served as an acolyte at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Branden was a loving husband and father. He will be deeply missed.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Mount Vernon. Memorials may be made in Branden's honor to the Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Building Fund or Saint Mary's School.
