Brandon Michael Cox, beloved son, brother, godson, and friend, passed away on November 15, 2025, in Virginia Beach, VA, at the age of 33. Born on December 5, 1991, in Illinois, Brandon's journey through life was one marked by passion, connection, and unwavering faith.
From a young age, Brandon's fascination with video games shaped his world. He found joy and excitement in the immersive digital landscapes, and he was often found exploring new worlds from the comfort of his home. Yet, it wasn't just the games that captivated him, it was the friendships and bonds he formed along the way. For Brandon, no one was a stranger; every encounter was an opportunity to build lasting relationships. His strategic mind and warm heart made him a beloved companion to many.
Brandon's devotion to his family was unparalleled. A loyal and loving son to Jeff and Stephanee, and a cherished brother to Bradley and Bryan, he was the cornerstone of his family's unity. His godparents, Claude Nathaniel Smiley and Dorothy Smiley, also held a special place in his heart, guiding him with their wisdom and love.
Known for his intelligence and expressiveness, Brandon had an innate ability to articulate his thoughts and beliefs with clarity and conviction. A true believer in his faith, he drew strength from his relationship with God, which guided him in times of both joy and challenge.
Brandon's legacy is one of love, loyalty, and inspiration.
