Brandon Joseph Moreno (aka Joey or Joe), born on January 23, 1988, sadly passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, to be with his beloved mother Roxie M. Shipman Moreno (deceased), in addition to many other close family members and friends that have passed on.
He is survived by his father Henry C. Moreno (Judy); his siblings Tony R. Kelley and Amberly M. Bost (Aaron), both of North Little Rock, AR; 2 nieces: Wendy Kelley and Daijuhna Kelley; 4 nephews: Wade Kelley, Tyler Kelley, Samuel Bost, and Asher Bost; 2 Uncles from his mother's lineage: Ricky Shipman and Michael Shipman; 3 uncles and 1 aunt from his father's lineage: Eddie C. Moreno (Marta), Jesse C. Moreno, Robert C. Moreno (Veronica), and Annie M. Menchaca-Moreno (Richard), respectively; a host of extended family (especially all of his cousins), neighbors, and friends that will dearly miss his presence.
Joey had a loving, humorous spirit with a very inquisitive and imaginative mind. He always had an excellent work ethic and enjoyed conquering challenging tasks. He most enjoyed camping, fishing, and recently, cycling, but also loved mechanical repair as a hobby. Joey was a very loyal and supportive brother, brother in-law, uncle, and friend who was also generous, always giving a helping hand to those in need. His free spirit loved nostalgic items and thus he acquired many collections of various relics over the years. He frequented estate sales and antique shops in hopes of finding a treasure. Every material object had importance beyond its function, especially when cherished by others. But just as he found joy in these material things, he could easily let them go. He found comfort knowing Jesus Christ was his savior and believed that he was not his mind or his body, and so with that, his resilient spirit will live on.
Special gratitude is given to the Bost's extended family and to the Peeks family for their compassion and assistance throughout the years and through this difficult time. Our family is also sincerely appreciative for all of the contributions made to assist with the crematory arrangements in addition to all of the condolences received and the comforting meals provided in our time of grief. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
