On the serene evening of January 10th, 1986, Brandon Pittman Sr. came into this world, a cherished gift to his proud parents, Brenda Pittman and Lorenzo Terry Sr.
From a young age, Brandon embraced his faith in Christ and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. His early educational journey led him through Academy Central, and later, Cooper Elementary School. At Foster Middle School, he discovered his passion for sports, igniting his football career and earning the nickname "Firecracker" for his lightning speed on the field. It was during his time at Foster Middle School that he crossed paths with Coach Fred Frierson, who introduced him to the world of basketball. Brandon's journey into AAU with the Federal Ballzers, under the leadership of Coach Larry, kindled a lifelong love for the game of basketball. At East Central High School, Brandon was not only a dedicated student but also a passionate basketball player. Coach Hudson, who mentored him during his time on the court, continued to be a significant influence in his life for years to come. Brandon continued to play throughout his high school years at Union High School, where he proudly graduated in 2005. Brandon's love for basketball extended to his involvement in numerous local leagues within the Tulsa community, where he also shared his passion by introducing his younger cousin, Jefferey Pittman, to the sport.
Beyond the realm of sports, Brandon had a profound love for helping people, a sentiment that guided him into his career at the Southern Hills Retirement Center, where he worked as a greeter and server, providing assistance to the residents of the facility. He also had the honor of serving as a part of Mayor Kathy Taylor's security team, contributing his dedication and service to the community. Later, he pursued and earned his Council for Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) license, allowing him to work as an armed security guard. He also volunteered as a firefighter in Arkansas, a role he took great pleasure in and frequently spoke proudly of. Brandon's enthusiasm for sports cars led him to Keystone Chevrolet Car Dealership, where he embarked on a fulfilling career as a car salesman, helping countless individuals find their dream vehicles. He remained devoted to this profession until his passing.
In his leisure moments, Brandon found delight in embracing a wide array of music, playing video games, and enjoying the warmth of his family and friends. Brandon had a deep passion for the arts and excelled in drawing. Brandon adored his role as a father and treasured the time he spent with his three children: Brandon Jr, Kamwren, and Kamora. Upon the arrival of his daughter, he frequently expressed that his life felt complete with his two sons and his precious baby girl. Recently, Brandon was overjoyed to learn that he would become a grandfather in March 2024 to a baby boy, giving him even more love to share. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Brandon is preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Terry Sr., his brother Jeremy Pittman, and sister Jerrika Williams.
Those who remain to celebrate his life and continue his legacy include his sons, Brandon T. Pittman Jr. and Kamwren Pittman, his daughter, Kamora Pittman, his mother, Brenda Pittman, and his stepfather, Charles Humphrey. Brandon is also survived by his sisters and brothers, Brittany Humphrey, BreAuna Humphrey, Chiquita Humphrey, Elisha (Lucious) Thomas, Crystal Grant, Marion Grant, Marvin Green, Lorenzo Terry Jr., Charles Jr. (Norma), and Anthonio Humphrey. He also leaves to cherish his memories a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many friends who loved him dearly and will share the victory of his homegoing. Brandon's devoted girlfriend, Shantel, remained steadfastly by his side until the very end, and also shares in his homegoing,
