Brandon Lee Rudy, 28, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, with his family by his side. He was the son of Bonita (Cobaugh) and the late Lester D. Rudy III, born on September 25, 1996, in Harrisburg.
Brandon was a 2015 graduate of Susquehanna Township High School and would go on to work in retail at TJ Maxx on the Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg. He had a natural ability to connect with people and could talk to anyone about anything. Brandon’s interests were wide-ranging—he loved video games, movies, music, roller coasters, amusement parks, shopping, dining out, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He especially looked forward to events like Comic-Con and was a huge fan of Peacemaker, John Cena, and professional wrestling.
With support from Keystone Human Services and ACAP, Brandon enjoyed weekly outings for errands, doctor appointments, and time out in the community. He was known for his upbeat attitude and unique personality—he was almost always in a good mood, and that energy rubbed off on everyone around him. Brandon will be deeply missed.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Bonita (Cobaugh) Rudy; siblings, Kimberly M. Hogan (husband, Thaddeus) of Camp Hill and David L. Rudy (wife, Stevie) of Dillsburg; a nephew, Linnaeus Hogan; aunts and uncles, Clayton Cobaugh (wife, Patty), Terry Cobaugh (wife, Gigi), Randy Siders (wife, Tina), Tina Rudy and Sara Rudy; and many cousins. He also leaves behind a great friend, Bob Stockdale, and his best friend, Gino Pinnatore. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his uncles, Robert (wife, Anna), Danny (wife, Pat), and Mike Cobaugh (wife, Debroah); and both sets of grandparents, Beverly and Chuck Siders, and Sara and Lester Rudy II.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Community Church of New Cumberland, 1601 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Brandon's name to his mother, Bonita Rudy, at 611 Mallard Road, Apt. B1, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
