Brandon D Sheets of Frankton departed this world on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the age of 43. Brandon was born to Monty Sheets and Kimberly Humphrey on July 9, 1981, in Elwood. He attended Bedford High School in Bedford, Indiana, where he excelled both academically and in athletics, and he worked for many years as a mechanic at Red Gold.
Energetic and full of life, Brandon was the kind of person that lit up a room, whether he was bluffing at the poker table or making his famous peanut butter pancakes. He loved the outdoors, and would often steal away to go golfing, fishing, hunting, or camping with his boys. Music was also a passion, particularly hard rock and country. Most of all, Brandon was defined by his big heart. He cared deeply for those around him, and was always willing to lend a hand when and where he could. He especially enjoyed serving others through his work at Man 4 Man Ministries in Anderson.
Along with his parents, Brandon is survived by his sons Cameron and Tristan Sheets of Bedford; his sisters Amber and Montana Sheets; his brothers Jason (Ashley) and Bracken Sheets; his stepsister Ashley; his grandmother Pat (Ronnie) Lawson; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many, many friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents Walter & Anita Sheets and Linda Lawson, and his aunt Ronna Lawson.
The family's wishes were for Brandon to be cremated, and Dunnichay Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care. A celebration of life for Brandon will be held at a later date.
