Brenda Duplessis peacefully transitioned from this life of Monday September 8, 2025, at the age of 71. She was native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Brenda was an amazing cook whose meals brought family and friends together, creating memories filled with warmth and joy. Beloved mother of Sheric Robinson, Sr. and Latasha Robinson; she was also instrumental in the rearing of her nieces and nephews James “Brother B”, or “Spoonie” Robinson, Shandell Simmons, Alisha Williams, and Kechelle Simmons. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Lashay, Jasmine, Sheric, Jr., Jeff, Jr., and Jermaine. Great grandmother of Jayda, Amelia, Jaliyah, and Legend. Daughter of the late Junius Robinson, Sr. and Idell Smith Robinson. Granddaughter of the late Robert Smith, Sr. and Mary Washington Smith. Sister of Junius (Delores) Robinson, Jr., and the late Marion F. Simmons, Audrey Lee Robinson, Agnes Castleman, Evelina Robinson, Dorothy Palmer, Moses Francis, and Walter Robinson. Niece of the late Neola C. Smith. Godmother of Lakisha Sheldon, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends whose lives were deeply touched by her presence. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Pastor T.
