Brenda K. Fields, age 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on March 25, 2024. She was born in Columbus, OH on July 17, 1958 to the late Marvin and Lorraine (Griffith) Newsome.
Brenda was a very kind, generous and loving mother and Grandmother. In her free time Brenda enjoyed horseback riding, fishing and going to church. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, church friends, and her brother. Her kindness and empathy radiated to everyone near her.
Brenda is preceded in death by her late parents, Marvin Newsome and Lorraine (Griffith) Newsome, Aunt Carol and her brother Jeffrey Allen. She is survived by her brother Richard (Connie) Newsome; children, Robert (Bobby) Fields Jr., Shaun (Angel) Fields, Amanda (Gerald), and Joy; her niece Megan ; grandchildren, Alyssa, Briana, Peyton, Aiden, Quentin, Ethan, Aaliyah, Kiara, Gianna, Ayana, Maurice, Ariah, Sharone, Rachel and Clara.
Friends and family may call on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 4 P.M. - 6 P.M., where a service will follow at 6 P.M. at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. 1346 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207.
