Mrs. Brenda Joan Curry Ghee, age 83, of Mineral Wells, passed away Friday evening, February 28, 2025, at her residence. She was born on September 9, 1941, in Boone County, a daughter of the late Arnold and Irene Curry.
She was a member of Mineral Wells Church of Christ and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cooking for as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Brenda took an active role in all the members of her family's lives. While there are not enough words to adequately describe how much she meant to her family, one does come to mind, "Mom."
Brenda was known by everyone from her daughters to great grandchildren as Mom and every day of her life she was a shining example of that title. If you were sick, sad, happy, or just needed some time with your mom she was always ready with a smile and the offer of food and most importantly her undivided attention and boundless love.
Brenda's memory and legacy will live on in all of those who knew her through the shining example she gave of how to love, and care for one another no matter what the circumstances.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Ronald Ghee; three Daughters, Kimberly Ghee, Angela Ghee Wilcox (Hodge), and Tina Ghee (Kenny); three grandchildren, Seanna Shearer (Russ), Ryan Keefe and Seth Keefe; and five great grandchildren Ava, Ares, Kamryn, Lucy, and August. As well as many friends who will dearly miss her.
A graveside service will be held at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Wigal officiating.
