Robert “Bob” Murray, 64, of Vienna, WV, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at home after an extended illness.
He was born in Santa Rosa, California, a son of the late Bill and Betty Murray.
Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force. While serving in the Air Force he met and married the love of his life, his wife, Sharon. After his honorable discharge, Bob went to work as a commercial truck driver, driving his Peterbilt across the country. He enjoyed spending time shooting at the range, computers, and woodworking, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Those who loved him will carry his memory, including his loving wife, Sharon Kay Schultz Murray; son, William “Bill” Murray (Ivory); daughter, Christina McFee (Tim); sister, Peggie Laabs; sister-in-law, Cindy Rebel; brother-in-law, Terry Schultz (Lisa); grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Scott Kirby officiating. His family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
