Brenda Hudman, 56, of Waldo, AR passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX.
She was born on December 3, 1968, in Magnolia, AR and was a 1987 graduate of Magnolia High School. She worked for Weyerhauser for 22 years and was a member of the Antioch West Baptist Church.
Brenda had a competitive spirit and a passion for sports. She enjoyed playing softball and basketball while in school and playing in local leagues in the community.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hudman and sisters-in-law, Janice Hudman and Lori Hudman. Brenda's children and grandchildren were her life, daughter, Brittany Carr and husband Kenny of Waldo, and their children, Dawson Carr, Keegan Carr, and Brynlee Carr and her daughter, Baylee Hudman of Waldo; Brenda is also survived by her father, Harvey Hudman of Waldo; brothers, Jimmy Hudman of Waldo and Russell Hudman of Waldron; nieces Ashley Lang and husband Nick of McGehee, Amanda Hansen and husband Thomas of Doyline, LA, Erica Hudman of Utah; great niece, Izabel Miller of Utah; great nephew, Carson Hamaker and great nieces, Avery Hamaker and Collins Hamaker of Junction City; and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Antioch West Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at the Barlow Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Carr, Devon McMurtrey, Tyler Isenberg, Brian Faulk, Jeff Triplet, and Josh McInnis.
