Ms. Kirby was born November 1, 1941, in Meridian, MS, to the late Russell E. and Nell A. Danner. She attended Fairhope High School and graduated with the class of 1959. After graduation, she attended Huffstetler Business College where she completed their Executive Secretarial Course. She worked as a Clerical Secretary throughout her working career. Brenda was a Christian by Faith and attended Taylorville Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, had an impeccable green thumb, when it came to vegetable gardening. She loved animals, dogs, cats and many others, with a special love of horses. Ms. Kirby was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Kirby was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Kirby, Jr.
She is survived by her sister Virginia D Milton (Bill); nieces Farrar Englebert and Debbie Hall (Michael); nephew Billy Kirby (Cristy); as well as her special friends Jackie Otts (and family) and Mary McGuire (and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama (3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404 or www.hospiceofwestal.com).
