Brenda Ellen Norris

Brenda Ellen Norris, 65, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on August, 24, 2025. She was born on June 16, 1960 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. She enjoyed going to the mountains, camping, and going to Helen, Georgia with her husband. She also enjoyed baking and canning vegetables. Brenda was always feeding everyone and giving to others. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Melvin Norris; parents, Howard Franklin Cavin and Virginia Jo Cavin; brothers, Howard Franklin Cavin, Jr. and Kenneth Dewane Cavin; and sister, Joanne Cavin.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Charlie Young; daughter, Tammy Young; grandchildren, Lexi Young, Abbie Young, Summer Cameron, and Jacob Walden; great-grandson, Conner Cameron; and sister, Pam Headrick.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2025 in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.

Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
