Brenda was born on January 18, 1943 in Cleveland County, NC a daughter of the late James Quinton Blanton and Jurell Bryant Blanton. Brenda was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Fallston.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Canipe and two brothers, Wayne and Ernest Blanton.
Survivors include her husband, Buddy Rhyne of the home; two sons Aron Canipe (Jana Brinson); Marc Canipe (Denita); grandchildren, Marc Canipe, II (Stacey), Samantha Ledford (Tommy), Matthew Simpson, Hannah Courtemanche (Jacob); great grandchildren, Trent, Madison, Guilana, Ryder, Natalie, Katelynn, Ryker, Avory, Amelia, Emery and Waylon; a sister, Renea Wright of Ellenboro; a brother, Mike Blanton of Polkville.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kyeth Lindsay officiating.
Burial will follow the service at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery in Fallston.
Memorials may be made to Charity Baptist Church, 113 Charity Church Road, Lawndale, NC 28090.
