Brenda Carole Wright

Brenda Carole Wright, a cherished mother and "Nana", passed away peacefully on the morning of February 21, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born on July 21, 1947, in North Carolina and was 78 years old at the time of her passing.

Brenda was very dedicated in her career and worked many years, owning her own business and giving the best customer service. Her commitment to her work and her genuine care for those she assisted left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She has had many repeat customers over the years that only spoke well and had high regard of Brenda.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John Womble and Geraldine Brown Womble, and her siblings, Debbie, Felton, Jerry, Marie, and Ronnie. Brenda's memory will be lovingly carried forward by her husband of 62 years, James Wright, Sr., her two children, David Wright (Margaret Wright) and Scot Wright. And her 5 treasured grandchildren will also carry on her memory, Mary, Noah, Brian, Hunter (Becca) and Evelyn.

A memorial service to honor Brenda's life will be held on Friday, March 13th, at 3:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes Maestas Chapel. Friends and family are invited to share their condolences and memories online at www.altmeyerfh.com.
