Brent Fibelkorn Obituary
June 8, 1951 - December 14, 2025
It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the passing of Brent Ray Fibelkorn of Hartly. He showed great dignity, courage and strength during his recent illness but it wasn't enough. Brent lost his battle on December 14, 2025.
Brent worked most of his life in construction, working his way up from Heavy Equipment Operator to Superintendent on heavy highway projects throughout Delaware and Maryland. He always put safety first for those that worked with him.
He loved deer hunting, bay fishing and boating. He was quite the outdoorsman. He got great pleasure from his garden and blackberry patch.
Brent loved his family and would do anything for them. He could fix anything. He was lovingly called "MacGyver" by his twin sister.
His legacy will live on in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Brent had a soft spot when it came to our furry pets, treating each one like the valuable family member they were.
He will be deeply missed by his family, many friends and all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Brent will be scheduled at a later date.
