We will always remember praying for Brett when he was young & he lost his vision. Then God restored his sight ! He wore glasses & graduated from HS, marched in a band & was near completion of a double major in college ! Wow ! We're very proud of this young man who liked to read & cook & loved his dog Finley & his family & friends !!

My name is Jodie Goard and I am a teacher at IVC High School. I had Brett in a class when I was a first year teacher. He was always so kind and a very hardworking student.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing . Please know that he has left me with a fond memory of a student who made me glad to be a teacher. My condolences go out to his family.
