Brian Bechtel Obituary
Brian Edward Bechtel, 58, of Ashland, passed away August 10, 2025 at his residence, in Ashland, Ohio.
Brian was born September 18, 1966 in Lodi, Ohio to Jacob Bechtel and Barbara {Kirkpatrick}Weitzel.
He worked at the Johnson Brothers Rubber Shop in West Salem, Ohio. Brian was a very hard worker and enjoyed canning. He is known as a very mellow man who can be eccentric at times. He had a great sense of humor and liked to joke around. Brian also enjoyed researching anything and everything that he could.
Brian will be deeply missed by his children Jeffrey Bechtel, Leila Brown, Jake Bechtel, Madison Bechtel, Brianna Bechtel; grandson Preston; parents Barbara (Ronald) Weitzel of Nova, Ohio, Jacob (Grace) Bechtel of Congress, Ohio; brothers Oren Jr. (Raqual) Kyser, John (Tonya) Kyser and sisters Tina (Mike) Kolmansberger, Kim (Mark) Tanner, Carrie (Sonny) Cooper and Melissa; Niece Brooke Mahon and many other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the Dickey Church of the Brethren Cemetery located at 1509 Township Rd 655, Ashland, OH 44805. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
