Brian K. Clephane, age 58 passed away all too soon on Friday afternoon, September 29, 2023 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Morgantown.
Brian was born March 9, 1965 in Columbus and attended Indian Creek High School. He worked in construction building houses and installing drop ceilings all over the state of Indiana. Brian was a member of the Edinburgh General Assembly and Church of the First Born, where he was recently baptized by Bro. Bill Flora.
Brian enjoyed being outdoors, mushroom hunting and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana University Men's Basketball. Brian loved his family and enjoyed being a papaw.
He is survived by his father, Jerrell (Gloria) Clephane of Indianapolis; daughters, Brittany (Scott) Cook of Martinsville and Misty (Levi) Bryant of Morgantown; sisters, Rhonda (Wayne) Nation of Brazil, Kim Christie of Washington state & Leah (Jeff) Neal of Martinsville; grandchildren, Brianna Cook, Christopher Cook & Vada Cook all of Monrovia, Bentley Collins & Braylie Bryant both of Morgantown; and a bonus grandson, Rylee Bryant of Morgantown.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Linda (Hopkins) Woolbright.
Bros. Rodger Bunch and Bill Flora will conduct a funeral service on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown.
