I just heard today the sad news. I went to Holston High with Brian and he was always everyones friend, and such a genuine person. He left a good legacy.

Brian, You will be missed by so many. I'm proud of the man you were. You were dedicated to so many things and were always helping others. You always put others first in your life and were never selfish. You truly loved your family and your children.
I'll especially always remember our phone conversations and all of the things we discussed. I guess we thought we could solve the world's problems in a phone call. We didn't, but we sure thought we could! I'll forever see your smiling face strolling around Alice Bell Pool where you should've been declared "The Mayor" of the pool! I've heard that you also left your legacy at Alice Bell Ballpark too as "Batman"!
May you rest in peace and may your children and family have comfort in knowing that you are safe at home now in Heaven.
Love, Tracy and the boys, Dustin and Tyler

Dear Davis Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I will always remember Brian "Batman" Davis as a good hearted and fun guy. He always made me laugh those days at Alice Bell Pool and he never knew anyone that didn't like him.
He sure did love his kids and will be truly missed.

Mr. & Mrs. Davis, Chris and Greg- I just found out about Brian and am so very sorry. Life can be extremely difficult and hard to understand at times. Brian really and truly enjoyed his kids- we had a lot of fun in the summer at Alice Bell pool. He always started a conversation with a joke and never knew a stranger. His work with the Shriners was very special to him. I know he will be deeply missed and there will be a huge void in his kid's lives that only memories and time will help heal. We will always remember Brian as "Batman" because he use to ride around the neighborhood on his bike with his Batman cape flapping in the wind!
Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Heaven now has their very own special "Batman".

I was out of town when I learned that Brian had passed away. Brian would walk in the neighborhood and would stop to chat for a minute or even an hour. The whole family loved seeing Brian walking down the street because we knew that we were all in for a good laugh..he just seemed to make everyone enjoy the moment. I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless

Art, Dot, Chris, Greg, and family - We just saw the notice in the newspaper about Brian. We are so very sorry we did not learn of his passing before now. You are a very special family to us and were wonderful neighbors for so many years. We know the grief you are experiencing, but have comfort in knowing Brian is with the Lord now. For children of God, we never really say "goodbye", but "I'll see you again." We pray that God will give you peace and give you strength in the coming days. We love all of you and will be in touch soon. In His Holy Name,
Dianna McMahan

Brian, You showed what a mason should be. You had fun in your craft, as well as being one of the most dedicated Brothers in the surrounding areas. It is my honor that you were involved in all of my degrees, and it saddens me deeply that you are gone. I pray that other masons coming up can be half the man/mason you were. May God Bless your family in there trmendous loss.

I can't believe he is really gone! I just saw an old friend at the store about 2 weeks ago and we were talking about him then. He was a really good person. A really big jokester. A really funny guy. He made us laugh at our first high school class reunion. I went to school with his wife, too. He was a good person. He'll be missed.
