Brian Nicholas Flynn

Brian Nicholas Flynn, born September 18, 1942, in Essex County, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 83.

Brian dedicated his professional life to the practice of law, serving as an attorney for over 30 years. His career was marked by his service as a town prosecutor for West Caldwell, New Jersey, and his expertise as a labor attorney. He was a proud graduate of George Washington University Law School, having completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian was a man of diverse interests and passions. A history buff, he could often be found immersed in a nonfiction book or captivated by programs on the History Channel. He was also a talented musician, whose love for the guitar and banjo brought joy to those around him.

Brian's heart was firmly tethered to the sea; he cherished the time he spent in North Chatham, Cape Cod. He was a proud member of the Lions Club of Chatham, MA, where he actively contributed to the community.

He adored his German Shepherds, Max and Fritz, who were his constant companions.

Brian is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Burt and Patricia Flynn, and his wife, Margaret Flynn. He is survived by his children, Meghan, Brian, and Brendan Flynn, his grandchildren, and his devoted sister, Nicole Wray. They will remember him for his warmth, wit, and unwavering devotion.

A service to honor and celebrate Brian's life will be held at a later date. In place of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting Brian's generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
