Brian Green, 62, of Reeders, PA passed away February 17th, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono after
a brief illness.
Brian lived most of his life in Bath, PA and attended high school at Northampton High School, in
Northampton, PA. For the better part of his adult life, he was employed by Bethlehem Steel and later at
a special events business in Bangor, PA.
Brian loved working with his hands, especially with wood. He was never lazy and was always building or
repairing something. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could always figure out a way to take something
broken and make it whole again, even if it was typically done in an atypical way. Brian loved gardening
and was an excellent cook, especially when it came to grilling. In his later years, his pride and joy were
his animals, Chelsea, Lilly, and Mr. Mittens who were all immensely spoiled. He was also his sister
Emily's right hand, always there to help with anything she needed.
Brian is survived by his son, Brian Jr. of Nazareth, his longtime companion, Tracey Witten of Reeders,
sisters Emily Strausser of Reeders and Donna Vinton (John) of Waymart and brother Jon Green of
Reeders and many nieces and nephews. He was especially close to his great niece, Kyra Strausser of
Reeders.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lois and Edward Green Jr., sister Barbara Green-Boguski and
brother, Edward Green III. Brian will be missed by all.
There will be a memorial luncheon in his honor at his sister Emily's home on Hay Rd. in Reeders on
Saturday, March 25 th, 2023 at 2pm. All are welcome. If you need directions, feel free to contact any
member of the Strausser family.
