He attended South High School, Bountiful High School, and the University of Phoenix, where he received a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
He worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 33 years and loved the people he worked with at the Church Distribution Center and the Church Office Building. He worked in many areas throughout his career.
On June 4, 1986, Brian married Leisha Petersen in Sandy, Utah. On December 1, 1992, they were sealed as a family to their children, Brennan Heugly and West Heugly, for time and all eternity.
Brian is survived by: Wife: Leisha Heugly; Sons: Brennan & West Heugly and their wives Chie Heugly and Rachel Heugly; Mother: Darlene and Jim Trammell; Sister: Tracy and Todd Woffinden; Half-brother: Colin Trammell; Stepbrother: Matthew and April Trammell. Grandchildren: Griffyn Heugly, Eli Heugly, Ruby Heugly, Linkin Heugly, Kaizer Heugly, Isaac Heugly, and twins Sapphire and Emerald Heugly.
Preceded in death: Father: Gary Heugly.

My heart aches for you, and your sons and grandchildren, Brian was a wonderful man, and he was caring man, and fun to be around. I really loved him as a son in law, and will always love him. May God bless each one of you as you go through this trial, for I know it isn't easy to bury a loved one. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I pray that you will know of the love I have for all of you. May you find peace and solace at this time and know that I am right with you and will help you if I can.
