Brian Hix

It is with deeply broken hearts, our family announces the passing of Brian Timothy Hix, age 46, of Covington, Georgia, previously of Snellville. Brian, a cherished son, brother, uncle and friend, went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2025.
Brian was born to Gary and Dianne Hix on April 3, 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended South Gwinnett High School and was involved for many years, along with his dad and brother in the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 65, where he achieved the rank of Star Scout. He is a member of the Golden Fleece Masonic Lodge in Covington and was employed by Walton County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary J. Hix; grandparents, Floyd and Vera Newman and Joe and Wynelle Hix. He will be missed every day by his mother, Dianne N. Hix; brother, Brandon Hix & wife Christina; nephew, Connor Hix & wife Breanna; and niece, Caylee Hix.
Brian was known for his kind heart, his humor and his immense love for hunting, fishing and his dogs.
Brian will always be with us in our memories and held deep within our hearts. He will certainly be missed around our Sunday dinner table.
The funeral service to celebrate the life of Brian Hix will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, from 2:30 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
