Brian Scott Hogaboom passed away January 24, 2022 in Layton, Utah. He was born June 6, 1985 to Gregg Hogaboom and Debra Perkins-Hogaboom in San Jose, California. He graduated from Merced High School and obtained a AA Degree from the Institute of Technology. On October 9, 2007, Brian married his best friend, Silvina Marquez. Together they have three children, Karsten (9), Karlina (3) and Karter (2). He enjoyed his work as an IT Tech.
Brian was a very gifted athlete in his youth. Receiving many awards in baseball and soccer. In his career he received many acknowledgments of excellence and gifts of appreciation
His enjoyed computers, video games, cooking and VW's. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children and wife.
He is survived by Silvina and his 3 children; his father, Gregg; his mother, Debra; sister, Brianna Helton and nieces Mackenzie and Shay Helton.
He was my best friend, my companion, my partner. We were a team. He was a very loving father and husband... I always felt safe and protected. I will miss that feeling of protection. - Silvina
