Brian Kerchief Obituary
Evansville, Ind. - Brian Robert Kerchief, 55, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021, at his home.
Brian was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 17, 1965, to Shirley "Bud" and Dorothy (Scherer) Kerchief. He was a graduate of North Posey High School and earned a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern Indiana. Brian honorably served in the United States Air Force. He owned and operated O'Brian's Sports Bar and Grill for over 15 years. Brian enjoyed riding his Harley, was an avid Colts fan, sports enthusiast, and loved music.
Brian is survived by his son, Dawson Kerchief; daughter, Shalyn Kerchief both of Newburgh, IN; father, Shirley "Bud" Kerchief of Evansville, IN; sisters, Julie Cates, Shirley Blankenship (Darrell), and Kristie Franklin (Ken) all of Evansville, IN; brother, Danny Kerchief (Kathy) of Wadesville, IN, Paul Kerchief (Amy), Greg Kerchief (Tammy), and Mark Kerchief all of Evansville, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy (Scherer) Kerchief and a brother, Keith Kerchief.

Brian had a HUGE heart, a beautiful smile, and was a genuinely great person. I have had the pleasure to know him personally starting with school and working with him professionally.
