Brian Meadows passed peacefully on June 13th of 2024 in the arms of God.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio October 24, 1967 and moved from Akron with his family, father David and Barbara Meadows. He is predeceased by his mother Rita Miller and step mother Barbara Meadows. Survived by David and his siblings Marlene Thompson (Jerry), Diane Scott (Charlie), Mary Ann Hall Dabrowski (Ron), Phylis Schirle (Paul). He also has a daughter Rebecca Naughton, grandson Jocob and several nieces and nephews.
Brian's career after High School covered many interesting vocations. Starting out in the food industry prepping in many restaurants in the Sarasota area, later as a waiter at the Colony Restaurant and other local establishments. Positions as bartender and manager helped hone his skills. Helping others was a passion and a gift he sharred with many. That included managing a rehab house in the Venice area for a short time. His easy manner and conversations continued to be one of his best traits. His resume includes being the dining room manager at the Oaks Country Club before he joined his father in theinsurance business and completed his career as an agent with Wichert Insurance Agency.
Among the things he loved was tinkering with computers, golf, sports especially being an avid Buc'sfan. Also a special caring of pets especially cats, Bill his rescued favorite, helped fill his time.
He will be missed greatly by all. Donations, in lieu of flowers can be made to Concordia Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Hospice of Sarasota.
A celebration of life will be announced at later date.
