My condolences to all of the family and friends.
I started my Salary career at P&W in 2000 on 2nd shift in the Test building with Brian. Coming from the hourly ranks, I immediately felt the weight of the building on my shoulders as they walked me through my new responsibility's. I was defiantly thinking "what have I got myself into".. Brian then pulled me to the side and said, Kid, I was just like you when I went salary. Stick by me, and learn everything I do, and I guarantee you will have a job for life!! 24 years later, and I'm sill at P&W thanks to his mentoring. There shall never be another like him. His legacy will live in everyone that knew him. Rest in peace to one and only "Mr. Jet Engine Test"

My condolences to Mrs Snell and your family. I transferred to 1st shift, Bldg. 410 Test the beginning of 1988. Brian was my supervisor for many years. Everyone liked Brian. He treated everyone fairly and with respect. I was also the union shop steward in the area. Brian and I had a very good working relationship. He left me with a positive work ethic that has stayed with me for my career at Pratt. As I am now getting ready to retire from Pratt I´m often asked who was my favorite/best supervisor . The answer is Brian Snell, hands down ! It was an honor and pleasure to have worked for him and to have known him. Rest in peace Boss...Frank Checko
