Brian Spears Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 15, 2025.
Brian David Spears, formerly of Pennsville, NJ, passed away on November 12, 2025 after a short illness at the age of 75.
Brian is survived by his loving family including wife, Donna, who he has been married to for 54 years; daughter Denise Sobieski (Scott), grandchildren, Emma, Sienna, Stephen; brother Leon Spears and sister Celeste Bittner. He is predeceased by parents Leon and Sarah Spears, and his daughter Stephanie Spears.
Brian was raised in Carneys Point, NJ where he attended St James High School. After high school, he attended Goldey Beacom College where he obtained his Associates Degree. He then worked at DuPont Chambers Works for the next 34 years as a Chemical Operator until he retired.
Brian enjoyed staying active and spending time with his family. He and his wife enjoyed going on cruises together over the years visiting many islands in the Caribbean and beyond. He was a huge sports fan and if he had the tv on you could guarantee it was a NASCAR race, Philadelphia Eagles or Phillies game. Brian's favorite thing was being "Pop-Pop" for his 3 grandchildren. He loved being around his grandchildren whenever he had the chance whether it was playing video games, making them ice cream, or cheering them on at soccer games. You would always see a smile on his face when his grandchildren were around and he truly enjoyed every minute.
His lasting smile will be dearly missed.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family
