Brian D. Tower, 71, of Erie, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, in Edison Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Castle.
Mr. Tower was born November 7, 1954, in Middletown, OH, a son of the late Jack and Bonnie (Fairchild) Tower, and was a 1973 graduate of McDowell High School, Erie.
Upon graduating from high school, Brian attended Edinboro University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
He was employed by the former Hammermill Paper Company, Erie, before ultimately retiring as an assembler from the former GE Transportation, Erie, in 2014.
Brian had an eclectic taste in music, and he enjoyed the wit and humor of Monty Python. Most of all, he loved his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his brother, Greg Tower (Sue), Katy, TX; two sisters, Gwen Smith (Mark), Erie, and Lisa Couture (Larry), Myrtle Beach, SC; nephew, Chris Tower; and four nieces, Amy Townsend, Erin Herr, Jackie Vines, and Jillian Couture.
In keeping with his wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
