Brian was an AMAZING leader as Drum Major for our McKean High School Highlanders marching band. He was someone we looked up to with great admiration, and yet he was down to earth and a caring friend. No doubt he still had those qualities through the years, and he will be missed.

I met Brian my freshman year at Howard U., and we developed a friendship that has lasted throughout the years. Brian was so eloquent, I thought he was a law student. Brian finally told me that he was a freshman, just like me. (smile) While saddened to see Brian leave, he left me and all of his HU friends and Sigma frat brothers (my husband, included) with many wonderful memories of fun college days, long, enjoyable conversations, and yes, love. I am praying for his family's comfort at this time and in the days ahead.
