Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home - Carrollton on Dec. 31, 2025.
Today, we honor and celebrate the remarkable life of Mr. Brian Williams.
Born on March 19, 1979, in
Villa Rica, Georgia, to Mrs. Calamity (Henderson) Williams and Mr. Eugene Williams, Brian graced this world with his brilliance, kindness, and unwavering determination. On December 30, 2025, he peacefully transitioned from this earthly life at Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, to his eternal home in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Brian's journey was marked by excellence and purpose. He attended Carrollton City Schools, where his academic gifts shone brightly. A proud member of the Carrollton High School football team, Brian balanced athleticism with intellect, earning numerous academic honors throughout his school years. From honor roll achievements and spelling bee victories to debate team accolades, his dedication opened doors to prestigious opportunities, including academic scholarships to the University of Tennessee. Later, he transferred to the University of Georgia to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a Sports Agent-a testament to his ambition and passion for sports.
Brian's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He accepted Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church in Carrollton, where he served faithfully as a youth Sunday school superintendent and shared his love for music as a member of the youth choir.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmothers, Ms. Essie Strozier of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs. Gladys (Henderson) Williamson of Temple, Georgia.
Brian's legacy lives in the hearts of those who loved him dearly: his devoted parents, Calamity and Eugene Williams; his sisters, Brandy (Williams) Geter and Stacey Williams; his cherished nephew, Brandon Williams Geter; his nieces, Tahirah and Haniyah Geter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Brian's life was a beautiful testament to faith, family, and perseverance. Today, we celebrate his memory with gratitude for the joy, wisdom, and love he shared with us all.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, with Rev. Bradley Bell officiating.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Tanner Medical Center, Emory Midtown, and Bridgeway Hospice for the care and compassion they showed to Brian.
