Brian Woveras, 66, passed away Sunday morning, December 19, 2021 at his home in Sheboygan Falls with his family at his side.
Brian was born April 19, 1955 in Sheboygan, the son of Rodney P. and Lois (nee Kohlhagen) Woveras. He attended school in Sheboygan Falls, graduating from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1973.
On October 5, 1974, he was united in marriage with Susan Jesinski at Immaculate Conception Church in Sheboygan.
Brian worked as a heavy equipment operator, mainly at F.C. Raemisch in Waunakee. For over 42 years, he was a member of the Operating Engineers, Local #139. Brian retired from construction in May 2010. After retirement, he enjoyed working with small engines and scrapping out metals. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers, father and sons, as well as spending time on his property "up north". He had a wonderful sense of humor, and his bad dad jokes will not be easily forgotten.
Brian is survived by his wife Sue their children: Brian (Jessica Hoffman) Woveras of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Anthony Woveras of Sheboygan, Julie (Mark) Pool of Sheboygan Falls and Sarah (Kevin) Fidler of Manitowoc; 5 grandchildren: Samantha and Elizabeth Fidler, Ellis and Evelyn Woveras and Jacob Pool and step-granddaughter Tia Sprengel. He is further survived by his siblings: Bennett (Jessica Knapp) Woveras, Bradley Woveras, Barbara (Terry) Marten, Bonnie Woveras and Brenda (Craig) Woveras-Schueffner; brothers-in-law: Edward (Debra) Jesinski, David (Linda) Jesinski, Joseph (David Tellez) Jesinski and Steven (Maria) Jesinski; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Rodney and Lois, parents-in-law Edmund and Elizabeth Jesinski and daughter-in-law Tricia Woveras.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish, 319 Giddings Ave in Sheboygan Falls with Father Joe Dominic officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 10:00AM-11:00AM.
Brian will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in his name.
The family would like to thank their friends and neighbors for their support, as well as Orange Cross, the Sheboygan Falls First Responders along with the staffs of ASMMC and Aurora Hospice.
