Bridget Darcy (Bea), 95 years old, died peacefully on June 18th, 2025. Bea was born on August 20th, 1929 in Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland, to Patrick and Helena O'Sullivan. Bea is predeceased by her 8 siblings and is survived by her sister Joan. In 1950, Bea came to New York City where she ventured into creating a remarkable life. Shortly after arriving in America, Bea met the love of her life, Joseph. Joseph and Bea were married in 1955. They were blessed with four beautiful children. Throughout their 66 years of marriage, they resided in Brooklyn, Queens Village, Bellerose, and finally, Floral Park, New York. Bea was a kind soul, a loving caretaker, a quiet and whitty humored individual, generous in spirit, never complaining and always supportive and accepting of her loved ones. She valued family, patience, caretaking, commitment and kindness. She was a proud Mom-Mom, a devoted wife, and above all else she loved true and hard to the very end. Bea leaves behind her children Kathleen Dineen (Edward), Patrick Darcy, Joann Darcy- Siegel (Arnold), and Joseph Darcy (Patricia), her nine incredibly proud grandchildren Sean Dineen, Michael Siegel, Brian Dineen, Joseph Siegel, Megan Dineen, Shannon Darcy, Derek Siegel, Brenda Darcy, and Joseph Darcy Jr, her seven great grandchildren, and an immeasurable amount of family members in Ireland, England, and Australia; friends, and individuals whose lives she touched throughout her years. Bea will be remembered by all as the sweet soul she was to the very end.
