Bridgette Danielle Cooper "Baby B", 31, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Victor, WV, gained her wings on November 30, 2025, leaving her family and friends heartbroken and far too soon.
Born with a gentle spirit and a brilliant mind, Bridgette filled every room she entered with warmth, light, and her unforgettable smile. She loved spending her days reading, cheering on her children at their sports games, and staying home with her fiancé, babies, and four-legged best friend, Dexter, snuggled up together watching movies. She cherished the magic of Harry Potter, and enjoyed traveling whenever she could.
What made Bridgette truly special was her remarkable heart. She was incredibly smart, compassionate, and dedicated. She was an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, partner, friend, and employee—someone who thrived in everything she did. Bridgette put everyone she loved before herself, giving endlessly and unconditionally.
She was also the organizer of all things— the planner behind every holiday, birthday, and family gathering. Whether it was a simple get-together or a full celebration, Bridgette made sure everything was perfect. Bringing people together brought her joy, and her thoughtful touch made every event unforgettable.
Bridgette was predeceased by her father, Timothy Cooper of Prince, WV, and grandparents Cynthia Cooper and Joe Swope of Kimberly, WV. She now rests peacefully in heaven alongside her beloved daddy, watching over those she loved from above.
Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Byron Pate of Mooresville, NC; her three precious children, Branson, Brentlee, and Breleigh Pate, all of Mooresville, NC; her mother, Reba Smith of Belle, WV; her siblings, Alyssa Cooper of Belle, WV, Timothy Cooper of Gauley Bridge, WV, Cayden Cooper of Prince, WV, and Tiffiny Johnson of Wheeling, WV; and her loyal canine companions, Dexter and El.
Bridgette served as the logistics office manager for Mr. Electric for five years, where she was admired for her dedication, talent, and leadership. Outside of work, she could almost always be found at a ball field, proudly watching her children play—the moments she treasured most.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bridgette’s life on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Visitation will be held from 12:00–1:00 PM at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, WV, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Dorothy Dean. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Garden, Victor, WV.
Bridgette’s love, strength, and light will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
“Her greatest joy was being a mommy, and her greatest legacy is the love she poured into her babies.”
“The ones that love us never really leave us.”
