Loretta Schmidt Obituary
Loretta Louise Schmidt, 82, of Hico, WV passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born August 10, 1942 in Visalia, California she was the daughter of the late Henry George Schmidt and F. Margarite Dunaway Schmidt.
Loretta retired from the National Park Service after 40 years as she loved traveling with her career.
Full obituary will be forthcoming.
In keeping with Loretta's wishes she will be cremated.
