Bro. Ira lee Doss, age 85, of Munfordville, KY, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church and a retired preacher. He also worked as a bricklayer until retirement. He loved fishing, being with people and sharing God's word.
He is the son of the late Jessie Earl Doss and Mabel Tooley Doss.
He is preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Kay Doss; and a son Elmer Wayne Doss; one sister, Anita Rust; and one brother, Billy Wayne Doss.
He is survived his wife, Drema Doss, Munfordville, KY; one daughter, Samantha Reynolds (Todd), Munfordville, KY; five sons, Steve Doss (Candy), Leitchfield, KY, Ira Doss,Jr., Pleasant View, TN, Kenneth Dale Doss (Valerie), Louisville, KY, Tim Doss ( Dee), Bowling Green, KY, and Bobby Hayes (Rhonda), Horse Cave, KY. Nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM CT on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home, Bro. Bobby Neal and Bro. Joe Milby officiating. Burial will follow at the Echoe Mission Church Cemetery.
