Lanita Audrey Neal, age 37, of Glasgow, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was a member of the Harlow's Chapel Baptist Church. She got her bachlors degree at Western Kentucky University where she was curently working on her masters degree. She was a social worker with the Cabinet in Elizabethtown and Glasgow, she also helped her uncle Keith Rowlett with his food truck. She had a big heart for everyone. She had a passion for flowers and riding her GXR 750. She loved people and would help any and everybody. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was the daughter of William Neal and his wife, Connie, Park City, KY and Anita Wilson, Horse Cave, KY.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Carrie Crenshaw Rowlett, Wanda Jean Morrison, Charles Rowlett Jr.; her step-father, Steve Wilson.
She is survived by her significant other, Jamie Herndon; three sons, Chase Lemarse Neal (Hannah), Glasgow, KY, Derick Broc Staples, Glasgow, KY, Raylen Blake Staples, Glasgow, KY; step children, Jamie Herndon (Shelby), Glasgow, KY, Deseray Hagan, Glasgow, KY, Harley Hagan, Edmonton, KY, Jeremy Abbett (Amy), Glasgow, KY; one granddaughter, Delilah Grace Ann Neal; six step-grandchildren, Zayden, Aiden, Aria, Amara, Gotham, and Kyle; one brother, William Scott Neal (MaHaley), Munfordville, KY; one sister, Brittany Stewart, Franklin, KY; step-sisters, DeAundra McCallum, Raisa WIlson; step-brother, Torrance Porcha; her niece and nephews, Lillyahna, Izayah, Braxton, and Dashawn Neal; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends also survive.
The family will receive friends from 5:00- 8:00 PM CT on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Harlow's Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM CT on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Harlow's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. W.K. Rowlett and Rev. K.T. Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Woodsonville Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brooks Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
