Brock Mason Landon was born to Trudy Dobbs (Dromgoole) Landon and Byron Lynn (Dromgoole) Landon in Rocky, Oklahoma on January 28,1975 and departed this life on August 17, 2025. Brock grew up and attended elementary school in Sentinel, OK. He attended High School at Shepton High School in Plano, TX. He studied at Dallas College in Mesquite, TX.
Brock worked numerous jobs in his adult life. He worked for Lowell Gray of Clinton Overhead Door Company for many years while living in Rocky. Upon moving back to Dallas, he was an employee of Vortex Doors, a commercial & industrial repair service. Brock's many years of working in the garage door industry with his Uncle enabled him to work in the commercial door industry. Brock also was employed as a Security Guard for many years providing security to downtown buildings in Dallas, then later for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall, TX.
Brock was baptized at First Baptist Dallas in 2017. Brock was a child of God & had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He now is residing with his Savior and has been reunited with his brother Jarrod. Brock's family takes great comfort in knowing he is in Heaven where there will be no more suffering, no sorrow or death, where he will live eternally.
Brock lived the last 10 years of his life with his Mother Trudy, Dad Rich and his younger brother Ross. Ross has so many wonderful memories of Brock after spending so much time with him throughout the years. His family enjoyed those years so much with Brock and will greatly miss having him in their home.
Brock possessed a gentle and quiet spirit, very similar to his Great-Grandmother Elsie Dobbs and Grandfather Gayle Dobbs. He was full of many fruits of the spirit; love, patience, kindness, gentleness and goodness. Brock loved everyone and loved to fellowship with friends and family. Everyone who knew him loved him!
Survivors include his parents, Trudy & Richard Berlando, one brother, Ross Berlando, all of Rockwall, TX and one nephew, Jaime Landon of Endicott, N.Y., He also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Lynn Landon, brother, Jarrod Gavin Landon, and both grandparents, Gayle & Nina Dobbs and Aubrey & Beulah Dromgoole, all of Rocky, OK.
