Brooke Avery Valencia

In loving memory of Brooke Avery Valencia, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 25, just 16 days before her 26th birthday. She was born November 19, 1998, in San Antonio, Texas to Cesar J. Valencia and Tanya Y. Palacios.
In 2017, Brooke graduated from Brennan High School in San Antonio. Though on a break, she was attending Northwest Vista College working towards her AS with plans to transfer to a 4-year university to pursue her BS in Dental Hygiene or Radiology. Brooke spent most of her time working though she made every effort to do what she loved most, hanging out with friends and spending time with her beloved Blue Healer, Xander and her two cats, Oliver and Bully. Brooke was the oldest of four and was truly meant for that role. She had the gentlest soul and the empathy that few possess which contributed to her being the amazing person that we all loved. The incredible amount of love and joy she brought to those who were fortunate enough to know her, will forever remain in our hearts.
Brooke is survived by her father, Cesar J. (Adriana) Valencia of Lytle; mother, Tanya Palacios of San Antonio; siblings, Zachery Edward Valencia, John Michael William Valencia, and Savannah Maria Ofenee Valencia; maternal grandparents, Edward and Barbara Palacios and Pauline and J.R. Williams; bonus grandparents, Juan M. (Ofelia) Vela; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Brooke was preceded in death by her grandmother, Karen 'Renee' Caikoski, whom Brooke had a special relationship with until her untimely passing and her grandfather, Cesar A. Valencia.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Funeral Service and Eulogy at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
