Bruce Bergstrom Obituary
Along with working he found great joy in the rodeo, where he was known as a brave steer wrestler and an avid horseman. He was a proud member of the International Professional Rodeo Association.
Beyond his professional and rodeo life, Bruce was a true outdoorsman. Whether he was on a hunting trip or casting a line at one of his favorite fishing spots, Bruce was most at home in nature. He was deeply loved by those who knew him and will be missed by many.
Bruce is survived by his children Elizabeth (the late Kenneth) Peters, Barbara McIntire and Robert Bergstrom; his grandchildren Stephanie Miller, Alison Miller, Geoffrey Miller Jr., Steven Miller, Markie (Kevin) Buschick, Kyle (Julia) Felch, Brandon Propst and Jade (Matthew) Lotts; his brother Richard (Ellen) Bergstrom; his former wife Naomi Wick; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, and special friend Willdell Edith Sartin. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; his brother Paul Charles "Chuck" (Marie) Bergstrom and sister MaryLou (Ed) Eades.
The service and celebration of life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 7th at the Wauconda Masonic Lodge, 220 Brown Street, Wauconda, IL 60081.

Bruce was such a wonderful man. I enjoyed every minute spent with him. When I first met Bruce, he was Gini's neighbor and she was my new girlfriend. I helped Bruce fix lawnmower engines and even an outboard motor hanging over a 55 gallon tank of water. He taught me the right way to attract a bass with the right lure. He was always steady, always kind and had a wonderful sense of humor. So many laughs.
