First Lieutenant Bruce N. Brantley, a cherished resident of Bethany, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on March 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication. Bruce's life journey concluded on this date, but his memory will forever endure in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Bruce is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn J. Brantley, whose unwavering support, and companionship were the foundation of their enduring love. He is also survived by his sister, Julia Simon of Alexandria, Virginia, whose bond with Bruce remained unbreakable throughout the years.

His son, Bret  Brantley of Norman, and his daughter, Laura Broyles, along with her husband, Gary  Broyles of Oklahoma City, mourn his passing deeply. Bruce's grandchildren, Jennifer Palmer and her husband, Kyle Palmer of Moore, Oklahoma, and Evelynn Broyles, cherished his wisdom and affection. His great-grandsons, Dakota, and Hudson, brought him immense joy and laughter, reflecting the enduring legacy of his love.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Brantley, and Corinne Chandler, as well as his beloved daughter, Jennifer Brantley, and grandson, Nicholas. Their memories will forever be cherished alongside Bruce's in the hearts of his loved ones.

First Lieutenant Bruce N. Brantley served with honor and distinction in the US Army, exemplifying courage, and valor throughout his military career.

Bruce earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He pursued his commercial broker’s license and managed commercial development projects throughout the Midwest, demonstrating leadership and integrity in every endeavor. He dedicated the final years of his professional life to the Oklahoma Housing and Finance Agency, serving the state with dedication and distinction.

Bruce pursued his passion for faith and service alongside his wife, Carolyn. They attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where they deepened their spiritual journey and commitment to missionary work. Together, they served as missionaries in Russia and stateside, spreading love, compassion, and the message of hope.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Corbett Funeral Home, located at 807 Wilshire Blvd, on March 19th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, at 1:00 PM at Seaman First Class Billy Turner Ardmore Veterans Cemetery, 1555 Myall Street, Ardmore, Oklahoma.  Memorial service will be held in the Oklahoma City area on a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity or humanitarian project of choice as a tribute to Bruce's life of compassion and service.

First Lieutenant Bruce Brantley's life was a testament to love, integrity, faith, and service. Though he may have left this world, his spirit will forever remain a guiding light for those who were blessed to know him.

Rest in peace, Bruce Brantley. You will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
