Beloved husband of Sharon Johnston (nee Pacella) for 50 years. Loving father of Bruce W. (Rebecca) Johnston, Jr., and Jessica Johnston (Mike) Tramonte. Dear grandfather of Robert (Lillian) Johnston, Jonathan (Emma) Johnston, Hailey (Tyler) Smith, Taylor Johnston, Michaela Tramonte, Cameron Tramonte, and Kellan Tramonte. Dear great grandfather of Preston Smith, Derek Johnston, and a great granddaughter on the way. Cherished brother of Terry (Robert) Dickhaus, William (Amy) Schwartz, and the late David (Kathy) Johnston. Son of the late Robert Johnston and Joyce Schwartz. Step-son of the late Ben Schwartz. Bruce was respected by all who knew him for his quick wit, infectious laugh, kind heart, willingness to help, and humble nature. A scientist by trade, he was a loyal and dependable friend, a voice of reason, a mentor, and a generous and welcoming soul. Above all, he loved his family, a good round of golf, his Cincinnati sports teams and any variety of cookies. Bruce passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022. Visitation will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 10 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. We will sorely miss the early morning figure of Bruce walking his dog in the neighborhood! Heaven has gained another angel. Rest in peace dear friend.

So sorry for your loss. Had a lot of fun and laughs on the many golf courses we played. I know he put a lot of time and effort in organizing the trips. He will be missed.
