Bruce E. Ricker

PRESQUE ISLE: Bruce E. Ricker, 70, passed away November 12, 2025 surrounded by family after a long courageous battle with cancer at a Veterans Hospital in West Roxbury, MA. He was born November 15, 1954 in Mars Hill. Bruce was a very loving man with the best sense of humor. His laugh was contagious, his smile was so big and bright and his attitude was fierce. He was very well loved by many. Bruce was a combat engineer in the US Army for 7.5 years, who also served in Panama. After that he spent many years doing broccoli and some other side jobs until he retired. After retiring he spent his free time gardening, cooking on the smoker, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He always loved to teach the grandchildren, things such as how to plant flowers or veggies in the garden and how to take care of them. He also had a love for apple trees after his grandfather had an apple orchard on their land growing up.
He is survived by his beloved wife Christine Ricker of Presque Isle, and their seven children; Taliana and her husband Jahleel, Travis Kelley and his wife Lacie, Chelsie McEachern and partner Benjamin, Kyle Bell and partner Taylor, Stephanie Savory and her husband Jason, Tasha Boyce, and Jake Ricker. Along with his most cherished 18 grandchildren; Zach Mills, Rachelle Kelley, Chauntelle Faulkner, Nishelle Kelley, Hailee Hill, Gage Gagnon, Kayleigh Turner, Addie Bell, Aubree Bell, Bentley Fongeallaz, Avery McEachern, Oliver and Gavin Kelley, Jaxon Sargent, Luka, Brixton, and Krue Williams and Kaidyn Johndro. He is also survived by his four amazing siblings; Cindy Weeks, Debbie Tompkins, Kevin Ricker, and Robin Underwood, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.
He was predeceased by his parents Frances (Folsom) Ricker and Erold Ricker.
A celebration of Life will be held 12 noon December 6, 2025 at Turning Point Pentecostal of Perham 961 Perham Rd. Perham. A graveside service with military honors will be held in the spring/summer 2026 at Foster Cemetery in Monticello. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bowers Funeral Home in Presque Isle.
