Bruce Rushing Obituary
Bruce “Boo Boo” E. Rushing, quietly passed away at his home in Bush, Louisiana, on April 10, 2025 at the age of 69.
He was born on September 23, 1955, to Robert and Madeline Rushing, in Bogalusa, Louisiana who preceded him in death, as well as his daughter, Traci Rushing Thomas.
He filled the lives of those around him with warmth, laughter, and many cherished memories. He loved his family, friends, golfing, football, guitars, and listening to great music.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Shelly Rushing, Son, Kyle Rushing, Grandchildren, Ashely (Cody) Oalmann, Mallorie Rushing, Scott Fussell, and Peyton Bishop. Great Grandchildren, Sadie and Colson Oalmann.
He will be remembered by his only surviving sibling, Richard ( Ann) Rushing, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and stepfamily members.
A celebration of life with be held at the family home in Bush, Louisiana, April 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
